Towson Art Classes
Welcome! We offer online classes in painting, drawing and watercolor, currently online. We also run short intensive workshops on a variety of techniques.
The site and program is run by Michael Stevenson. He studied in Arizona, Montreal and Berlin. Arizona is where he received his MFA (painting/printmaking) and MA in Art History (renaissance/Aztec art). He also established a community-based printmaking center in San Pedro, California.
He taught at university for several years and pursued (still does!) an active art career in Los Angeles. He has exhibited at several museums, was awarded the Pollock-Krasner grant and was a full fellowship at the Vermont Arts Center
He currently lives and works in Towson.
